My husband and I visited your beautiful church today and it was a wonderful experience.
We came to pray and say thank you for the good things in our lives and found the church to be so calming and restful for contemplation, private thoughts and prayer.
We definitely decided to return to experience mass with you all soon.
As regular church attendees we appreciated the hidden gem we found in the heart of the busy city.
Thank you for letting us share this special time in your special place.

I started coming to this amazing, beautiful church around 6 months ago. I had a 3 day exam, just around the corner from the church and I didn’t do well on the first day, just because I was very nervous. I went for a walk and came across this church. I met an amazing person called Bridget. I explained to her that I was in a bad a place and needed somewhere to think and pray. I Also explained that I wasn’t Christian and if I could come in and come to mass. Bridget said ‘oh ofcourse you can, come inside, this church is for everyone.
Since then I come to the church on the train from Burnley on Saturdays and Bridget still welcomes me and asks if I’m ok.
She lights candles for me and prays for me. When I go to the church, I feel at peace and when I’ve prayed, it feels like everything’s going to be ok.
I would like to thank you for welcoming me and being so very kind. May god bless you always and may god bless the church.

Wonderful church and mass celebrated as when I was a
young boy by Monsinuer Fitzgerald at St Patrick's in oldham.

If there could be one suggestion I would make it would be for the priest or minister to give holy communion to the disabled who can't walk to the front of the church in there seat I am sure there are only a few but worth considering so they can receive it when they attend

Only in in the last six months have I started going to mass again,
The mass at this church inspires me to keep going each Sunday
although I am not really that religious.
It reminds me of when an aunt of mine used to take me every Sunday.
The person who sings from the gallery as an amazing voice and sometimes brings me to tears.
If anyone reads this post please make a pilgrimage to this wonderful church and sample the mass and surroundings.
I am sure the people who attend will make you most welcome
