Hi there,

I was wondering if you do Baptismal preparation courses. If you do when will be the next course and what do we need to do to book on the course.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Denis

Dear Fr. Dennis, peace be with you. I am Fr. Carlos, from Diocese of Jundiaí, Brazil. I was very impressed by the beautiful of this Marian Shrine. I would like to have an image of Our Lady of Manchester. I founded a religious community called Fraternity Saint Gilbert, it is inspired in Saint Gilbert of Sempringham. There are now 4 brothers in the community. I see the beautiful devotion and love of English people to Our Lady. Please, how do I get an image of Our Lady of Manchester? I beg your blessings. In Christ, Fr. Carlos :D

I have recently started attend St. MAry's with my husband who is a non-catholic and am drawn to the little angel on the left side of the altar with a broken wing. I call him my 'little disabled angel' ! I am curious to know how he lost his left wing.

I am so moved by Adam's stations of the cross. I meditate and pray with the images in my mind throughout the day. I have never been so deeply affected by any other works of art.
Is there any way I can purchase prints of these amazing painitings?
I would love to visit your church someday. I never really cared to travel, but now I hope I can travel to visit your church at some point in my lifetime. Please pray that God will aloow that to happen. God bless you for sharing your artwork.
sincerely,
janice

Dear Madam/Sir,
A few years ago, I completed a survey of all church bells in Greater Manchester, during which I fitted new ropes to the bells at English Martyrs (Whalley Range) and St. Chad's, Cheetham, and found a few bells older than the present buildings. The information for the Salford Diocese was sent to the archives in Burnley I know the bell at St. Mary's is regularly used and have looked at it through binoculars from the outside - it appears to be of twentieth century date - but was not allowed access to examine it inside. Since I am visiting Manchester this weekend (18-19 July), I wondered if there might be a convenient time to view this bell though I appreciate this is now short notice. If, on the other hand, a willing volunteer would photograph it and note down any inscription cast upon it, I'd be delighted to receive a copy!

Many thanks for any help or information you can provide.
Regards,
John Greenhough

A very beautiful church with a calming effect when coming in after a day in a busy city centre. Recently tracing my family history I discovered my mother was christened here in 1927 and I have now seen the name of J W Bond my great uncle on your memorial plaque dedicated to the lost souls of the parish from WW1. I would like to explore further and wonder if records of births, deaths and marriages are availble to the general public for inspection.

Thank You
